Working for SPH and MediaCorp is really tough job. I have to keep my head clear and produce good work in different house styles, and also different house rules.
Xianjie, Kaiwen and I went to cover the Japanese Summer Festival@Changi Japanese Primary School in the evening and I did the hosting. Argh. It’s been nearly a year since I speak in front of a camera, but nevertheless, it went quite well. =)
The only was that, I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the event.
I didn’t get to wear the yukata.
I didn’t get to scoop the goldfish.
I didn’t get to eat takoyaki(though I ate okonomiyaki).
I didn’t get to play with the water yoyo balls(which min-chan called and told me she got lots of it for me BOOHOO!!).
And Kaiwen and Xianjie nearly suffocated due to underlighting and smoke. Haha.
One good thing is that I got to take pictures with some really cute people(guys), and saw quite a number of familiar faces! (Jae, Min-chan, Zhi-chan, Clarice, Angie, Xinni, Lilin, Chris, Shuwen, Sarah, Bruce, etc.)
Also, I got to practise my Japanese with the Japanese stallholders and patrons. Thankfully, they could understand my Japanese very well and for that, I feel like awarding myself for being consistent in my Japanese grades. =)
